Easter Team Championships , Craigielaw GC

Easter Competition at Craigelaw (limited to first 48 players, 2.15PM start)

At Craigielaw we held our Easter Team Championship. In total we had 68 boys and girls competing over the day. The weather was fantastic which made it all the more enjoyable.

Many thanks to all at Craigielaw GC for the use of their facilities, the short course, pitching and putting area were in excellent condition for our event. Also special mention to Kate Green from East Lothian Council for her organisation and help throughout the day.

The event was a combined scoring system of 3 sections, a 6 hole texas scramble, pitching and putting. There were 2 sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Prizes were issued for the sections, morning and afternoon. The overall winner adding all 3 sections together would win the East Lothian Easter Team Championship Shield.

The scoring throughout the day was excellent, with 4 of the teams scoring a one under par score of 17 on the texas scramble course. There was also some excellent putting show along with superb pitching with the help of Professional David Burns giving some coaching on the day.
