Fun in the Borders

Melrose GC, Flag Event and Stroke Play Event (to qualify for stroke play you must have scored 36 or less in a flag event or be a girl with a CONGU Handicap to enter)

Today we held our latest 9 hole flag and stroke play event in the beautiful setting of the borders, at Melrose GC. 48 boys and girls took part on an excellent day for golf with the course in excellent condition.

Many thanks to all the members at Melrose GC for giving us courtesy of the course and special mention to Janet Brown and her team for all their help on the day.

The scoring was excellent today, with special mentions to Eden Collins, scoring 35 in the Under 14/12 boys flag section for the 9 holes and therefore qualifying for the stroke play event and also John Vogelpohl in scoring 36 in the Under 14 boys stroke play section.
