Today we held our "Race to Dunbar" 2014 Finals Day at Dunbar GC. The players participating had all qualifed for today by finishing in the top ten of our Order of Merits.
The conditions on the day were extremely tough with winds of 30mph, gusting up to 45mph. Well done to all the boys and girls who competed on the day.
Many thanks to all at Dunbar GC for their help in organising todays event and looking after us all so well on the day. Special metion to Head Professional Jacky Montgomery and to James Hughes for keeping us well fed for the day, definitely recommend the carvery!
Stephen was on hand, all day, for the boys and girls, doing the starting and a Q and A before finishing with the prize giving.
The prize giving was for all our Order of Merit Winners, Under 18 and Under 15 Scratch and Handicap for Boys and Under 18 Scratch and Handicap for Girls
The winners on the event for the day were Mark Napier, Turnhouse, who scored and excellent scratch 78 and Greig Govenlock, The Glen, who won the handicap section with 81-5-76.
