Race to Dunbar 2015

"Race to Dunbar" Finals Day

Today we held our "Race to Dunbar" 2015 Finals Day at Dunbar GC. The players participating had all qualified for today by finishing in the top ten of our Order of Merits.

Many thanks to all at Dunbar GC for their help in organising todays event and looking after us all so well on the day. Special mention to Head Professional Jacky Montgomery and to James Hughes for keeping us well fed for the day.

Stephen was on hand, all day, for the boys and girls, doing the starting and a... Q and A before finishing with the prize giving.

The prize giving was for all our Order of Merit Winners, Under 18 and Under 15 Scratch and Handicap for Boys and Under 18 Scratch and Handicap for Girls.

In testing conditions all the children performed to a very high standard, the main prizes on the day going to Andrea Walker (Glenbervie) winning the scratch prize on a countback with a 75 and Malachy Hayward (Swanston New) winning the handicap section with a nett 70. Well done to both for their excellent scores
