Today we held our Xmas Texas Scramble at Hermitage GC, in total we had 60 children competing.
The weather began with a blizzard before the first tee time but thankfully it did improve although there still was a very cold wind.
Many thanks to everyone at Hermitage GC and Autism Initiatives Scotland for all their help on the day, as always we were well fed and watered during day.
On the day we also held a separate competition run by the Scottish Blind Golf Society. many thanks to their Captain Cameron McDiarmid for running the Blindfold Putting Competition, congratulations to the winner Joe MacPherson
The scoring again was of a high standard in very testing conditions, 12 out of the 15 teams scoring 36 or better. Special mention toTeam 12 DAYS OF XMAS (Cameron Johnstone, Thomas Johnstone, Olivia O'Leary and Max Johnstone) who scored an exceptional 29.
We also held a special prize draw for Ryder Cup books, the winners being, Karis McMeechan, Owen Abu Baker, Sorley Scott and Emily Moore.
