Today we held our latest flag and stroke play event at Pumpherston GC. In total we had 75 boys and girls competing on an excellent day for golf.
Many thanks to everyone at Pumpherston GC especially Christine Potter and Bill Thomas for all their help on setting he event up, the course was in excellent condition for all the children and we were all well looked after in the bar afterwards.
The course for the stroke play event was tougher than normal with the course measuring 5700 yrds, which made the event counting for handicap purposes. This though did not stop the high quality of golf shown by all the children.
Speciall mention to Ruben Lindsay who scored an excellent 71 in the Under 14 boys and to Cameron Arnold (Under 8 Score 36) James Wilson (Under 10 Score 35) and Braden Collins (Under 12, Score 35) who have now all qualified for our stroke play section.
