Great Golf in the Rain

Great Golf in the Rain

Today at Gogarburn Golf Club we had 83 children taking part in the latest of our flag and stroke play events. The weather unfortunately was not kind with continuous rain throughout the day. Full credit to all the children and parents on the day for playing and watching with a smile on their face.

Many thanks to everyone at Gogarburn GC on the day for the courtesy of the course and for their help during the day and also keeping us well fed and watered, special mention to Moira Brown who not only helped all day but represented the club in presenting the prizes.

The scoring in the conditions was fantastic, special mention to John Jack in the Under 14's flag event who scored 33, also special mention to the under 14 boys stroke play players, where 6 boys scored 48 or better in the 12 hole event.
