Turnhouse Flag and Stroke Play Event

Today we had 66 children taking part in our latest flag and stroke play event, the course was in excellent condition with the wind and rain making it a challenge for all the kids.

Many thanks to everyone from Turnhouse Golf Club, for giving us courtesy of the course for the afternoon and for all the help in organising and running the event.

Our Professionals David Burns and Jane Connachan were on hand all day giving the children some excellent tips which was proven by the scoring of the young ones on the day.

In the flag event special mention to David Bullen in the U14 section who scored 30 shots over the 9 hole course, also congratulations to Ben Austin U12, score 32 and Oliver Henderson U10 score 36 which ensures all 3 boys have now qualified for our stroke play section.

In the stroke play section excellent scores from all the winners of their age groups, special mention to Connor Currie who scored 74 in the U14.
