Wet and Windy for first Event of 2019

In total we had 62 boys and girls who braved the elements at Swanston Templar Golf Course, for the first of our events in 2019. Flag and stroke play events were played over the 9 hole course, in very wet and windy conditions.

Many thanks to everyone at Swanston GC for their help in organising the event and to the greenkeeping staff for having the course in excellent condition for them at this time of the year.

The scoring in the conditions was excellent and with a number of personal bests it proves that the winter coaching is working.

Leading the way in the stroke play events were Luke Wu who scored 33 in the Under 10 boys, Tobin Witt who scored 33 in the Under 14's and Ava Paterson who scored 43 in the Under 14 girls.
