CHANGES TO VENUES FOR U15, U13, U12 AND U10 CHAMPIONSHIPS
Due to recent guidance from Scottish Golf regards the holding of 'Open' Competitions we have had to take the decision to change the golf course for our U15, U13, U12 and U10 Championships to Castle Park GC. The reason behind this is that, all juniors who register with us automatically receive a free Junior Membership of Castle Park GC, therefore we can hold this event as a club championship. For anyone who has already entered and no longer wish to participate please contact me asap so I can organise a refund. No refunds will be given after 5th July. Free Golf at Swanston for kids, BACK ON, from FRIDAY 5th JUNE
Swanston Golf office has E-mailed me to say a few SGF parents have called the Club asking if their kids can play from this Friday, when the Templar Course will re-open. We have spoken to Swanston and they have agreed that SGF kids can play from Friday 5th of June but MUST call the Shop to book a time and only 2 players for each tee time. To book a t time call The Shop number on 0131 445 2239 option1 - ask them to call between 9.30am and 4.00pm.
SGF Virtual Events; Win a Chance to Play with Stephen
Well it looks like the courses will be opening again within the week, fingers crossed. We will be looking to hold some events in the near future and will keep you updated regards this. For now though and for a bit of fun we have decided to hold 3 Virtual Events, please see the events section, over the coming weeks finishing on the week of the "Open". These are for fun but also any monies raised will go towards our SGF Junior Coaching and Mentoring Programme for 2020/21. At the end of each event there will be a prize draw, with the winner to play 9 holes and have lunch with Stephen Gallacher at Kingsfield GC, the dates for this event will be advised once we know all the winners. This is a fantastic prize with a chance to play with a European Tour Winner and Ryder Cup Player. For each event the entry fee will be £5, its not restricted to members of the Foundation and multiple entries can be made. As anyone can enter this, please feel free to share with all your friends and colleagues, the more the merrier

We will where possible in the future look to re-arrange these events. This means our first event will now be on June 7th at Longniddry GC, this though again is subject to the ongoing situation regards the coronavirus but we will keep you informed at all times. For anyone who has entered our events in May and wish to transfer their entry to another event in the future, please let me know and I will arrange this. If you have any queries on this, please do not hesitate to contact me.
