Many thanks to everyone at Dunbar GC for the hospitality shown on the day and to the members for giving up their course for the kids this afternoon. Special mention to Captain Janette Main, Liz Thom, Jacky Montgomery and John Barbour for all their help in organising the event and for Andy Little and all his team in keeping us well fed and watered.

The weather unfortunately was not kind to us this year with some rain and strong winds. The course though was in fantastic condition for the kids and the boys and girls did their best in trying conditions and still produced some excellent scoring on a Open Qualifying golf course.

The low score of the day was a 71 by 3 players, Ruben Lindsey ( Ayr Belleisle), Josh Beveridge (Bathgate) and Cameron Adam (Royal Burgess) with Cameron winning on countback to win the scratch trophy. In the handicap section Jack Kinghorn ( West Linton) had a fantastic nett 66 in the worst of the conditions.

The CSS for the day was
BOYS: 72
GIRLS: 73

Results from today were as follows:

RACE TO DUNBAR SCRATCH
1. Cameron Adam ( Royal Burgess) 71 ( best back 9=33)
2. Ruben Lindsay ( Ayr Belleisle) 71
2. Josh Beveridge ( Bathgate) 71
4. Valdemar Hundeboll ( North Berwick) 74
5. Connor Currie ( Turnhouse) 76

RACE TO DUNBAR HANDICAP

2. Finlay King ( Royal Burgess) 69
