We held our latest flag and stroke play event today at Dundas Parks GC, 45 boys and girls competing in all the events.
Many thanks to all the Dundas Parks members for giving up their beautiful course for us today and special thanks to James Cowper for all his help on the day. The course was in fantastic condition with the weather very hot. The club also put a fantastic putting competition for all adults and children. The winners on these were Taylor Russell for the kids and Jim Sharp, vouchers on their way to you
Today we had our PGA Professional Jane Connachan giving some tips before the kids commenced and it clearly showed in the scoring, many thanks Jane.
The best score of the day went to Kiron Gribble and Kyle Anderson in the under 14 boys both scoring level par 35, with Fraser Walter scoring an excellent 39 in the Under 12 boys and young Stella Walters beaten the boys in the Under 10's with an excellent 43. Congratulations also to Greg Anderson who scored and excellent 33 in the Under 12 flag event and now qualifies to play in the stroke play events.
