The Stephen Gallacher Foundation is a registered charity with the aim to give children the opportunity to play golf. From those just starting through to others with a little more experience. PGA qualified coaches will help give everyone the best chance to learn and enjoy playing the game in a fun environment

We have also developed an excellent pathway taking the children for a course of lessons during school term, then providing those who are interested with an extensive year-round programme of events. The final step is for them to become members of a golf club. We are hoping to play our part in combating the diminishing numbers of golfers playing the game in Scotland.

In 2019 we provided over 400 coaching sessions for 30 schools with PGA qualified professionals reaching out to approximately 1200 children. The sessions are free of charge to the schools and include transporting the children from school to range/course then back to school again. The take up has exceeded our expectation to the point of where we are now having to operate a waiting list.

If you or your company wish to become more involved and become a Gold Sponsor, the cost for this is £5,000, which you would receive your company logo on the Foundation official headed paper as well as on our website with a hyperlink to your company's site.
