U12 and U10 CHAMPIONSHIP, KINGSFIELD GC
It certainly was not the finish we all wanted with the last day looking very exciting, unfortunately like a lot if things this year, things did not go as planned. The very heavy rain and winds overnight have made the Kingsfield GC unplayable for today.
Many thanks to everyone at Kingsfield GC for their help in organising this weekends event and for trying everything to get the event finished. Special thanks to Susan Arkley, Robert Arkley and Jane Allan.
There still though has to be Champions and this years Champions are, U12's Alexander Yuill (Gullane GC) who scored exceptional rounds of 37 and 36 in some of the worst conditions I have seen on a golf course,to win by 2 shots, in the Under 10's Fraser Walters (Craigielaw) retained his Under 10 title, again with fantastic scoring of 41 and 37 to win by seven shots.
